Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park & Rhino Tracking
After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for the journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
Your first major stop is at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda’s only wild rhino sanctuary, where you’ll enjoy an exciting guided walking safari to track the endangered southern white rhinos. This conservation success story has helped restore rhinos to Uganda after they became extinct in the wild during the late 20th century.
After lunch in Masindi, continue to Murchison Falls National Park. Before checking into your lodge, visit the famous Top of the Falls, where the mighty River Nile squeezes through a narrow rocky gorge before crashing down into the Devil’s Cauldron below. Day 3: Return to Kampala or Entebbe
Today is the highlight of your safari.
Following an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for briefing before joining experienced ranger guides into the rainforest.
Your trek may last between 2 and 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ location.
Once found, you’ll spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation.
