Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide before transferring to your hotel in Kigali.

Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at the hotel or enjoy an optional introductory tour of Kigali, one of Africa’s cleanest and safest cities.

Your guide will provide a safari briefing as you prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Twin Lakes Excursion

After an early breakfast, report to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters for registration and a detailed briefing by experienced park rangers.

Begin your unforgettable trek through the lush rainforest in search of one of Rwanda’s habituated mountain gorilla families. Depending on their location, the trek may take between 2 and 8 hours.

Once the gorillas are found, spend one magical hour observing their fascinating social behavior and photographing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat.

After lunch, continue to the spectacular Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo, where the serene waters, surrounding hills, and volcanic backdrop create one of Rwanda’s most picturesque landscapes.
